Stuffed Chillies Recipe ๐ŸŒถ️



๐ŸŒŸIngredients -

• Big green chillies

• 1–2 tbsp gram flour (besan)

• Raw peanuts

• Cashews

• Oil

• Mustard seeds

• Fennel seeds

• Fenugreek seeds

• Cumin seeds

• Nigella seeds (kalonji)

• Turmeric powder

• Salt

• Red chilli powder

• Coriander powder

• Garam masala

• 2–3 tbsp yoghurt


๐ŸŒŸMethod -

1) Wash the chillies, slit them lengthwise, and remove the seeds.

2) Dry roast gram flour on low heat until aromatic (do not change colour).

3) Dry roast peanuts lightly and let them cool.

4) Grind roasted peanuts and cashews into a fine powder.

5) Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and nigella seeds.

6) Add roasted gram flour, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

7) Add yoghurt and cook for a minute on low heat.

8) Add the peanut–cashew powder and mix to form a thick stuffing.

9) Stuff the prepared masala into the chillies.

10) Heat a little oil in another pan, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, mustard seeds, and nigella seeds.

11) Place the stuffed chillies gently in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat until soft and fully cooked.

12) Serve hot with dal or raita
